Cheap Gas Is Gone!…How To Save On Fuel, Improve Fuel Economy and Drive Fuel Efficient and Green

With the rising cost of gas prices and no end in sight everyone wants to save as much money at the gas pump as they possibly can.

Do you remember when you could fill your tank for 10 BUCKS or less? Who do the oil companies think they’re conning?

You and I can’t control the price of gas but by following the current and up-to-date know-how of fuel economy, the tips and tricks, the truth . . .and not the old myths you can quickly and easily start saving significantly on your gas bill.

There is a lot of expert advice available which you can implement instantly so you can start saving money today. Here are some little known tips and tricks you can try out.

1. Paying for your gas the smart way

One of the ways that you can save money at the gas pump is by using a gasoline credit card. When you have a gas card you’ll be able to get 5 or 10 percent rebate back on the purchase of your gas. This can amount to as much as $75 to $300 each year. Many gasoline companies are joining up with other retailers to give you numerous savings at the gas pump.

2. Buy your gas in the morning or evening

Gasoline becomes denser in colder temperatures. Gas pumps are set to measure the volume of the fuel that you pump and not the density. This means that if you fill up your gas tank in the cooler morning temperatures, or in the colder evening hours, that you’ll be getting better gas price economy. Try to fill up your gas tank later in the evening to avoid the rush of day hours.

The next 2 tips will be surprising to you I’m sure.

3. Buy gas from a busy station

Try to buy your gas from a gas station that is consistently busy and therefore has its underground tanks filled on a regular basis. Gas stations that are slow will have gas that has been sitting in underground tanks for longer periods of time, leading to gas contamination. This contamination can mean that the gas you are purchasing is less powerful than fresh gas and will decrease your fuel economy.

4. Turn the nozzle

When you have finished filling up your gas tank try turning the nozzle of the hose a full 180 degrees. This will drain a bit more gas into your tank; in some cases up to an entire half cup that would otherwise be a bonus to the next gas customer. That half cup each time adds up to a lot over the year!

These are just some of the great ways to save on gas!

If you are fed up with going broke each time you pull up at the gas station, then visit http://www.more-miles-less-money.com” />http://www.more-miles-less-money.com to discover the current expert know how, to help you to pay less for gas.

Fuel Economy for Cheaper Gas

You don’t have to be a mechanic to be able to grasp the fact that a better running engine will use up less gas, and thereby reduce your annual fuel bill.

Using some simple comparisons make it very clear: people need oxygen to breathe, fire won’t burn without oxygen, and gasoline requires oxygen to explode with enough force to move a car. Gasoline is put into your car as a liquid, but before it is used it has to convert to a gas-vapor.

In order to do this, the engine’s fuel injector (or carburettor for older vehicles) mixes the gasoline with oxygen to create a powerful gasoline/oxygen mixture. However only around 30-50% of gasoline that you put in your car is properly vaporized for ignition.

A whopping 15-20% of fuel remains unburnt because of the size of the gasoline molecules, and this exits your engine as exhaust pollution. Wear and tear on the engine accounts for even more energy loss.

If you think you have been getting ripped off with the price of fuel, how do you feel knowing that what you pay for isn’t used properly? Approximately one-fifth of the gas you purchase comes out your tail pipe as waste -that’s around 15-20%. It’s no wonder we have the pollution problems we do!

Would you believe that there is now a natural, safe way to make the fuel you purchase for your vehicle work more efficiently? What about if you could double the life of your engine, and at the same time save 7-19% on your gas bill while reducing pollution-causing emissions?

We would all like to know how to get cheap gas. That doesn’t mean however that you will be paying less at the gas station. What you really need is a fuel reformulator – and note this is not the same as a fuel additive. Fuel additives are normally petroleum or alcohol based and while they may give your car an extra kick performance-wise, they will not reduce your fuel costs, or contribute to controlling exhaust emissions. Their price of around $20 per container, which you need to add to each tank of gas, actually increases your gas price considerably.

A fuel reformulator like Ethos FR will provide the cheaper gas you are hoping for in several ways. Firstly it will naturally lubricate your engine, reducing wear and tear and make it run more efficiently. By reformulating the gasoline, using just one ounce of a quality fuel reformulator per tank fill will give you a miles per gallon increase of between 7 and 19%. Lastly the toxic emissions from your tail pipe will reduce by at least 30%, proving that more of the gasoline that you pay for is actually being used by your engine.

The reformulator splits apart the dense gasoline molecultes using minute molecules called esters. This process helps the gas particles vaporize much faster. The esters clean the inside of the combustion chamber by removing the unburnt gasoline sediment from its walls. Only one ounce needs to be used per 10 gallons of gas.

Better fuel economy is within everyone’s reach now that fuel reformulators are available to us all.

U.S. Govts Validation Of The Water To Gas Fuel Conversion System

The water to gas fuel conversion system which operates by the injection of hydrogen into the car engines air intake manifold and results in lower carbon gas emissions , improved mpg, and lesser global warming affecting the environment should be having a much better press and improved P.R. than is the case at present.

Too many people perceive the addition of a few bits and pieces to the engine of a car and its ancillary components beneath the bonnet/hood to be an amateur or garden shed invention that is too laughable to consider.

Such is the deep consideration given to all the problems associated with fossil fuel powered machinery, especially motorcars, that all major governments are now sponsoring the development of alternate methods of motor power that the U.S governments Department of Transportation (DOT) published a final report in November 2007 titled d “Guidelines For Use of Hydrogen Fuel In Commercial Vehicles” which was aimed at the safety issues associated with the handling of hydrogen, mainly but not solely, on diesel trucks rather than petrol powered cars, also included were hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, and crucially for the water to gas movement ” the internal combustion vehicles and hydrogen on demand technology”.

I enclose some relevant comments from the above report to substantiate the U.S government’s support. Supported by our National Energy Policy a new generation of technologies is currently being developed that allow the use of hydrogen as a fuel to power cars and trucks in the future, hydrogen may be used in one of three ways to power vehicles.

a) To produce electricity in a fuel cell.

b) As a replacement for gasoline or diesel fuel in an internal combustion engine.

c) As a supplement to gasoline or diesel fuel in an internal combustion engine”.

There are several ways that hydrogen can be used as a motor fuel. It can be used to directly replace diesel or gasoline in specially designed internal combustion engines, or it can be used to supplement those typical fuels in existing engines. The report continues with a statement to affirm that the drive system of any vehicle converted to use hydrogen as a supplement remains identical to those cars who continue to use only diesel or gasoline.

Some data in support of installing a hydrogen on demand/or water to gas system is supplied by the Canadian Hydrogen Energy Company who guarantee a minimum improvement of at least 10% reduction in fuel use with reports of up to 30% reduction in some vehicles. The respected Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) state in a report that ” Hy-Drive Technologies fuel injection systems will reduce fuel consumption by 12-50%.

Right, we have covered the various governments support aspect of “hydrogen added” to cars, question now is where do you get one and how much will you have to pay. Well as it stands now the news is not too good. Hydrogen car makers like Honda, BMW and Toyota for instance are at present all leasing out vehicles, and even then they are selective as to where they prefer their customers to reside. At present there are very few hydrogen top-up stations in existence so if you do not have one in your area, then join the queue, it could be a very long queue by the time mass production is achieved and the whole support infrastructure is in place, 2years, 4years, 6years, more, who knows. As regards price its pick a number, so called experts are quoting anything from $50000 to $500000.

Why not satisfy your need for a hydrogen car and fit a water to gas fuel conversion system now and improve your mpg and the environment immediately by reducing those harmful carbon gas emissions and help prevent global warming. You only have one life, do not waste it or the environment.

Bill is now retired but as a keen motorist has driven on most continents of the world and has a keen interest in environmental issues, these account for only a couple of his many varied interests. For further info on the Water4gas fuel conversion system please visit..http://www.the-car-hub.co.uk/

Get the Best Fuel Economy to Reduce Your Gas Bill

You think it can’t get any worse, but each trip to the filling station you see a higher price posted on the sign. One tank now sets you back a ridiculous sum of money. Is there any way to fight back? Many Americans are quickly realizing their first line of defense is to achieve the best fuel economy possible.

America’s guzzling of gasoline has many negative consequences. Not only does it serve to quickly drain your bank account, it does so to the wealth of the entire nation. Being a net exporter of oil, America essentially is draining its national treasury by sending hundreds of billions of dollars abroad. One noted financial expert recently asserted that it was the greatest transfer of wealth the earth has ever seen.

Most associated with the oil patch do not see things changing. Peak oil is upon us with most of the easily accessed reserves tapped. New supply must come from highly remote and difficult environments. Many include politically sensitive areas like Anwar and the intercontinental shelf.

Exploration in such places is highly expensive. Proven reserves mostly reside in places which entail international political risk. Many of America’s entanglements arose from necessity of a free flow of oil. Even with increased crude oil supply, our nation’s refineries are inadequate to meet increasing demand. A new one hasn’t been built in over thirty years.

The burning of fossil based fuels also releases massive amounts of carbon into the atmosphere. The more carbon based fuels we burn, the worse it becomes. Inefficient, low mileage vehicles are great contributors to this phenomenon which is called global warming. So, with all these problems, are there solutions?

Increased efficiency through higher mileage is universally recognized as a positive step. Many options are currently available in the marketplace. Most simple is just to make the car smaller. Smaller cars obviously get better mileage. Also available are hybrids which increase efficiency through a recharging battery.

On the horizon are other cutting edge solutions. One is a hydrogen fuel cell. With this technology, it is theoretically possible for us to run our cars on water. If not fully, others are exploring mixing this technology with the combustion engine to increase mileage obtained up to fifty percent.

Whichever the solution, the time has come. With skyrocketing gas prices most of us do not have a choice. There are many options to explore to seek the best fuel economy possible. Your bank account and planet both depend on it.

Times like these and every one is looking for the best fuel economy. To find out more, check out WaterFuel.
